You'll lead budgeting and forecasting processes while managing a team. This role requires a strong background in accounting and finance, with a CPA preferred.
You have a Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance, with a CPA strongly preferred. With over 8 years of experience in progressively responsible corporate accounting roles or public accounting, you have a deep understanding of financial reporting and compliance. Your strong Excel skills enable you to build complex models and analyze financial data effectively. You have experience working in an international environment, which includes knowledge of foreign exchange, multi-currency reporting, and international transfer pricing. Your background in a multi-subsidiary environment has equipped you with the skills to navigate complex financial landscapes.
As the North America Financial Controller, you will report directly to the Director of Finance and ensure adherence to company and external accounting, treasury, financial reporting, and internal control policies for the North America Division. You will lead the month-end and year-end close procedures, overseeing all accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, cash management, and payroll. You will own and develop the budgeting and forecasting process for the North America division, partnering with regional controllers in South America, Europe, and Australia to ensure compliance with internal control and reporting standards. Your role will involve developing, preparing, and presenting key financial reports to Senior Management, identifying areas for process improvement, and implementing time-saving solutions. You will also act as a key contributor in the design and maintenance of the company’s financial and reporting systems, overseeing and developing an accounting team of approximately 10 people.
InterSystems is committed to excellence and provides a supportive environment for its employees. You will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic team that values collaboration and innovation. The company offers competitive compensation and benefits, along with opportunities for professional growth and development. You will be part of a company that is dedicated to unlocking the power of data and providing exceptional support to customers and partners around the world.
