Job Description

Have you ever thought about what it takes to detect and prevent fraudulent purchases among hundreds of millions of e-Commerce transactions in different countries? What would you do to create a trusted marketplace where millions of buyers and sellers can safely transact online? What kinds of processes and systems would you build to maximize customer satisfaction? Amazon is seeking a Program Manager who is passionate about Operations, able to make decisions faster, and has experience leading multi-organizational projects.
Selling Partner Support (SPS) group designs and builds the software systems, risk models and operational processes that minimize risk and maximize trust in Amazon. Not only do we protect all aspects of the Amazon shopping experience, we also deliver services to large and small merchants hosted on the Amazon platform. In addition, we evaluate new business opportunities from across the company to determine how we can minimize the risk associated with new initiatives.
We are seeking a Program Manager to support the India Abuse space and have an understanding of the India markets from an abuse prevention standpoint. The Program Manager will also be required to collaborate with cross functional programs at a global scale and look to combine solutions to improve our investigation processes for the end to end India Buyer Abuse investigations. You will support the buyer abuse risk prevention space with a focus to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness throughout the process life-cycle.
As the PM, you will drive projects focused on operational cost improvements, overall quality and customer experience, resource planning, appropriate training and necessary tools, decision quality, process efficiency and global alignment.

Core competencies of the role include:
· Ability to partner with stakeholders across multiple functions within the India business teams (Ex: Concessions, Last Mile, Category, Amazon Business, etc.) to reduce concession abuse in the India marketplace.
- Ability to influence stakeholders across the organization without direct reporting lines
- Ability to develop and execute complex project road maps
- Change agent with the ability to lead change across all levels of the organization
- Attention to detail with written and verbal communication skills
- Oral, written and interpersonal communication skills along with facilitation skills
- Self-Starter and Change agent with the ability to lead change at a functional level.
- Ability to develop new ideas and creative solutions.
- Ability to work successfully in an ambiguous environment.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize work
Basic qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university, preferably in Technology or Business.
- Minimum of 5 years of successful experience in program/project management or an equivalent operational role.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience and knowledge of process improvement tools, methods, and techniques
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- 5+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements- 5+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 5+ years of driving process improvements experience
