Revance is seeking an Accountant to manage financial transactions and maintain the general ledger. You'll perform account reconciliations and support month-end and year-end close processes. This role requires a bachelor's degree and 3+ years of relevant experience.
You have a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline and at least 3 years of directly related experience. You are detail-oriented and organized, with strong multi-tasking skills that allow you to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Your experience includes analyzing general ledger accounts and reconciling financial discrepancies, ensuring accuracy in all financial reporting. You are hands-on and capable of entering daily transactions into an ERP system, demonstrating your proficiency in financial software.
Experience with month-end and year-end close processes is a plus, as is familiarity with auditing practices. You are comfortable preparing special financial reports based on customer contracts and have a knack for process improvement initiatives. Your ability to maintain thorough and accurate documentation in accordance with company policy is essential for this role.
As an Accountant at Revance, you will be responsible for verifying financial transactions through account reconciliation and analysis. You will regularly analyze various general ledger accounts and reconcile any discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information. Your role will involve entering daily transactions into an ERP system and preparing and posting journal entries to ensure accurate financial records. You will support the month-end and year-end close processes, maintaining files and documentation thoroughly and accurately.
In addition to your core responsibilities, you will provide support for auxiliary schedules during audits and prepare special financial reports based on customer contracts. You will also assist with other projects as needed to properly maintain the general ledger and contribute to process improvement initiatives within your business area. Your analytical skills will be crucial in identifying areas for efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.
