Job Description

Join Amazon Payment Services to drive innovative payment solutions across Africa, Middle East, and Turkey. You'll collaborate with internal teams and banking partners to enhance customer experience through frictionless payment methods. This role offers the opportunity to shape the future of digital payments while ensuring reliable transactions for millions of customers and sellers across five countries.

Key job responsibilities
• Design and implement operational processes to enhance payment experiences across multiple markets
• Partner with banking institutions and payment networks to optimize transaction flows and resolve integration challenges
• Lead incident management processes and coordinate real-time support operations across global teams
• Analyze performance metrics and conduct deep-dive investigations to improve service reliability
• Develop and maintain dashboards to track key operational metrics and business performance
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives based on data analysis and stakeholder feedback

A day in the life
Your day might start with reviewing overnight transaction metrics and addressing any operational incidents. You'll collaborate with banking partners to optimize payment flows, meet with tech teams to discuss platform improvements, and analyze customer feedback to identify enhancement opportunities. You'll also lead cross-functional meetings to drive process improvements and present performance metrics to leadership.

About the team
The Amazon Payment Services team operates across five countries in the AMET region, working to revolutionize digital payments. We're a diverse group of problem solvers, combining technical expertise with business acumen to create seamless payment experiences. Our team values innovation, analytical thinking, and customer-focused solutions.- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- 3+ years of experience working cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams
- 3+ years of experience implementing process improvements using data and metrics
- Proficiency in SQL and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLookUps)
- Experience defining program requirements and measuring improvements through data analysis- Experience in payment systems, banking, or financial technology
- Knowledge of payment schemes (VISA/MasterCard) and banking industry operations
- Experience managing relationships with external partners and stakeholders
- Master's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
- Track record of leading complex projects with multiple stakeholders
- Experience presenting to and influencing senior leadership
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in ambiguous environments and drive results
