Every day, tens of millions of people come to Roblox to explore, create, play, learn, and connect with friends in 3D immersive digital experiences– all created by our global community of developers and creators.

At Roblox, we’re building the tools and platform that empower our community to bring any experience that they can imagine to life. Our vision is to reimagine the way people come together, from anywhere in the world, and on any device. We’re on a mission to connect a billion people with optimism and civility, and looking for amazing talent to help us get there.

A career at Roblox means you’ll be working to shape the future of human interaction, solving unique technical challenges at scale, and helping to create safer, more civil shared experiences for everyone.

As a Senior Fraud and Financial Abuse Security Risk Analyst on the Governance, Risk, and Compliance team (GRC) team, you will support the proactive identification, assessment, and mitigation of fraud, cybercrime, Roblox economy manipulation,  money laundering and risk of other financial abuses. This role is critical to safeguarding Roblox’s interests, reputation, and long-term success. By implementing robust risk management strategies and encouraging collaborative partnerships with relationship owners across Roblox, you can effectively navigate the complexities of this space to ensure a “right-sized” security risk for Roblox. This role will report to the GRC Manager.

You will:

  • Be a key contributor to the GRC team within the larger Information Security Organization (InfoSec).
  • Integrate your knowledge of cybersecurity, risk management, and fraud/financial crime/AML programs to identify and implement security engineering solutions.
  • Partner with your GRC, Security,  Engineering, Product, and Trust & Safety colleagues to support the design and implementation of a “risk first” Fraud and Financial abuse that is “right-sized” for Roblox and takes a “security first” point of view.
  • Lead design and implementation of the focused Fraud and Financial Abuse Risk Management program within the broader Information Security Organization.
  • Find opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness, crafting tools and automations along the way to drive security and compliance by design.
  • Be a subject matter expert in cybersecurity, risk management, and financial abuses/fraud, providing education and mentorship to others across the Roblox organization.
  • Engage crossfunctionally with the Engineering, Product, Information Security, Legal, Compliance, Trust and Safety, and Finance teams.

You Have:

  • 4+ years of relevant professional experience in cybersecurity, risk management, cybercrime, financial crimes, anti-money laundering or other related experience.
  • Experience with identifying or assessing fraud, financial crime, cybercrime and money laundering risk AND cybersecurity risk in a tech or fintech environment.
  • Experience collaborating with software engineers to identify, assess, and mitigate information security gaps, concerns, and weaknesses.
  • Deep understanding of the cybercrime and anti-money laundering space and how to educate organizations on these concepts. Ability to build policies, procedures, standards and other documentation in this space.
  • Understanding of security concepts and a broad range of security risks and controls.
