As the Director of Enterprise Sales for India South, you will be responsible for driving the sales strategy and execution for Datadog's growth objectives in the region. You will manage, hire, train, and ramp a team of Enterprise Sales Executives who are tasked with generating new business and expanding existing accounts. Achieving annual bookings quotas will be a key focus, with monthly and quarterly targets guiding your team's efforts.
You will develop and manage your team's productivity metrics, including deal size, win rate, and forecast accuracy. Coaching your sales executives through the sales cycle will be essential, as you help them build relationships with named enterprise accounts and navigate complex deals. Your role will also involve shaping the direction of the go-to-market strategy, ensuring that your team is equipped with the right messaging and collateral to meet customer needs.
Conducting weekly forecast meetings will be part of your routine, allowing you to support your direct reports and stay aligned with sales goals. You will collaborate closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to create targeted messaging that resonates with your region's unique business landscape.
