Job Description

**About the Role** **We're hiring a Senior Product Designer** to join Uber’s Financial Products team (SF-based, global). In this role, you’ll lead the design of gifting experiences that bring joy, connection, and creativity to how people share and spend on Uber. You’ll also shape the future of wallet, credit, rewards, and financial tools that empower users and drive meaningful engagement across the platform. You’ll collaborate with passionate partners across design, product, engineering, and research — influencing roadmaps, driving product strategy, and seeing your ideas reach millions of users worldwide.What You’ll Do - Design bold, joyful gifting experiences across mobile and web that bring creativity and delight to how people share and celebrate. - Infuse fresh, commerce-driven thinking into the marketplace and rewards products with a focus on speed, clarity, and impact. - Collaborate across PM, engineering, and research to turn insights into meaningful, scalable experiences. - Shape product vision and influence roadmaps, communicating design direction clearly to senior and executive leaders. - Use motion, illustration, and storytelling to make experiences expressive and memorable. - Work fast and iterate often. Test, learn, and refine with a focus on real user and business outcomes. - Bring positive energy and curiosity to a creative, collaborative, and high-performing global design culture. **Basic Qualifications:** - 5+ years of experience designing mobile-first products - Strong portfolio showcasing user-centered, shipped work - Proficiency in Figma **Preferred Qualifications:** - Experience in wallet, fintech, payments, or other regulated industries - Proven ability to simplify complex problems with strategic thinking - Experienced in prototyping and interaction design, with demonstrated experience in motion design and growing expertise in bringing interfaces to life - Comfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with product designers, engineers, brand, and marketing to ensure both functional clarity and emotional connection. - Strong communicator who can clearly explain design rationale to diverse teams - Bring designs to life through animation, micro-interactions, and transitions that elevate user experience across mobile and web platforms. - Solid understanding of design systems, accessibility, and responsive design - Strong collaboration and communication skills English, with Portuguese and Spanish considered a plus. For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$180,000 per year - USD$200,000 per year. You will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
