Overview

Databricks is seeking a Real Estate & Workplace Project Manager to oversee capital expenditures and manage key projects across EMEA. You'll develop strategies and ensure project deliverables are met on time and within budget. This role requires strong project management skills and experience in construction build-out projects.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a proven track record in project management, particularly in real estate and workplace environments, with a focus on delivering large-scale construction projects. Your experience includes managing capital expenditures and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure project success. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to build consensus among internal and external parties effectively. You are detail-oriented and adept at tracking project metrics, ensuring that all aspects of the project are aligned with organizational goals. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to changing priorities while maintaining a focus on quality and efficiency.

What you'll do

In this role, you will manage Databricks' EMEA Project Management scope, taking full responsibility for capital expenditures across the region. You will lead the team’s largest projects, ensuring that they are completed on time and within budget. You will oversee the full project mobilization lifecycle, from construction through to go-live, working closely with Workplace Operations, IT, Security, and Food & Beverage teams to ensure a seamless handover and activation of new spaces. You will develop project scopes of work, resource plans, and execution frameworks, including managing RFPs and vendor selection. Your role will also involve tracking and reporting on key project metrics, including goals, budgets, change management, and schedules. You may be required to travel to various project sites as needed.
