Overview

DoorDash is seeking a Regional Merchant Lead to drive partnerships with local and regional restaurants. You'll manage the full sales cycle, building relationships and negotiating deals. This role requires strong sales skills and local market knowledge.

Who you are

You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in building relationships with local businesses. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals. Your ability to communicate effectively and negotiate agreements is key to your success. You are familiar with the restaurant industry and understand the unique challenges and opportunities that local merchants face. You are self-motivated and can work independently while also collaborating with a team. You are adaptable and can adjust your approach based on the needs of your clients and the market.

What you'll do

As a Regional Merchant Lead, you will be responsible for identifying and onboarding new restaurant partners to DoorDash. You will spend a significant portion of your time in the field, meeting with restaurant owners and pitching DoorDash's offerings. Your role will involve negotiating revenue share agreements and selling multi-product solutions that help merchants grow their business. You will also work closely with the Outside Sales team to develop strategies for expanding DoorDash's presence in your assigned market. Your ability to build strong relationships with local merchants will be crucial in driving revenue growth for DoorDash. You will collaborate with various internal teams to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new partners and provide ongoing support to help them succeed.
