Carvana is seeking an Experienced Heavy Body Technician to perform extensive bodywork and train other technicians. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of professional automotive bodywork experience.
You have a minimum of 5 years of professional automotive bodywork experience, demonstrating your expertise in various bodywork techniques. Your background includes heavy plastic welding, metal pulling, straightening, and stud welding, showcasing your ability to handle complex repairs. You are skilled in roof and rocker panel repair, as well as large area heavy bodywork, including Bondo repair. Your experience allows you to train other autobody technicians, fostering a collaborative environment where skills and knowledge are shared. You are a team player who is committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences and are willing to work mandatory overtime when necessary to meet business needs.
As an Experienced Heavy Body Technician at Carvana, you will be responsible for performing extensive bodywork on multiple panels, ensuring that vehicles meet high-quality standards. You will utilize state-of-the-art tools in one of our high-tech Inspection Centers, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the repair process. Your role will involve training and mentoring other technicians, helping them develop their skills and advance in their careers. You will work closely with your team to deliver vehicles on time, maintaining Carvana's commitment to customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will participate in ongoing training programs to enhance your skills and stay updated with industry advancements.
