You possess a deep understanding of contractual and legal requirements relevant to transportation operations. Your experience includes defining audit strategies tailored to high-risk topics, ensuring that compliance is maintained at all levels. You are adept at managing complex escalations and have a track record of building mechanisms to identify and mitigate compliance risks.

You thrive in cross-functional environments, collaborating with key support functions such as Legal and Operations to harmonize compliance efforts. Your ability to influence at a global level is a testament to your strong communication skills and your commitment to driving compliance initiatives.

Desirable

Experience in developing and implementing compliance training programs would be a plus. Familiarity with data analysis tools and methodologies can enhance your ability to assess compliance risks effectively. A background in auditing or monitoring within a logistics or transportation context is highly desirable.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead a team of Audit & Monitoring Managers, guiding them in their efforts to ensure compliance with contractual and legal standards across the Middle Mile operations. You will define and implement the Americas-wide audit strategy, focusing on high-risk areas and adapting to the evolving risk landscape.

Your responsibilities will include managing high-complexity escalations, both internal and external, and developing strong mechanisms to identify compliance safety, regulatory, operational, and reputational risks. You will work closely with various stakeholders to propose harmonized compliance strategies that align with Amazon's operational goals.

You will also be responsible for fostering a culture of compliance within your team and the broader organization. This includes mentoring your team members, providing them with the tools and support they need to succeed, and ensuring that compliance remains a top priority in all operations.
