You have 5+ years of experience in security engineering, with a strong focus on cloud services and infrastructure. Your expertise includes conducting security reviews and developing threat models — you understand the nuances of complex technical systems and their vulnerabilities. You are innately curious, always looking to improve security practices and share insights with your team. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with developers, site reliability engineers, and other security professionals to ensure the integrity of services. Your communication skills allow you to effectively advocate for security improvements across engineering teams, raising the security bar for all projects.
Experience with security testing and automation tools is a plus. Familiarity with privacy regulations and compliance standards will enhance your contributions to the team. A background in offensive security practices can provide valuable insights into potential threats and vulnerabilities.
In this role, you will be the primary security point of contact for several large engineering efforts at Apple. You will partner with engineering teams throughout their development lifecycle, conducting security reviews and providing guidance on best practices.
