We drive the entire ingestion and certification process for third party content which involves the entire life cycle from the time a developer submits any content to the time it is put up on the store, whilst ensuring the highest quality experience for Amazon customers.
The team is looking for a Content Test Specialist that will work on testing Alexa Skills, both manually and with automated tools. Content Test Specialists at Amazon are capable of taking up tasks of test case execution from start to completion with minimal help. They would be responsible for understanding the product in detail and updating the test case tool with the test results. They will manage new submissions and re-submissions to include record creation, record management, download, install, test and validation of the digital content to ensure it meets Amazon’s high quality bar. Above all, they will play a vital role in helping us meet our content selection expansion goals while protecting our high-quality customer experience.
Key job responsibilities
• Perform test instruction execution and report results/deviations accurately
• Review and own updates to the test plan on an ongoing basis
• Use software tools for data capture and comply with the processes of the organization on a daily basis
• Be comfortable with capturing results, communicating and escalating failures and providing individual status reports and adhering to Productivity and Quality base lines.
• Raising all failures/doubts related to the execution of test cases in the clarification portal and closing the same as per the SLAs
• Own the daily targets against internal and external dependencies.
• Comfortable working in a fast paced, highly collaborative, dynamic work environment
• Should be able to deal with ambiguity
• C1 proficiency in Spanish and English, both verbal and written skills.
• Understanding basics of software testing or hardware devices like tablets and smart phones.
• Comfortable communicating on emails and across multiple-management levels.
• Prior work experience in testing and/or operations
• Able to work in our Bucharest Office.
• Strong working knowledge of basic business software like Word, Excel etc.
• Knowledge of web technologies like basic HTML, CSS etc. or Software testing environment.
• Knowledge of gaming software or Mobile Apps, Android OS.
• Full time Graduate in technology, arts or commerce
• Self-motivation and a strong bias for action; the ability to hit productivity goals without micromanagement
• Ability to identify, communicate, and champion process improvement opportunities that will benefit the entire content operations team
• Excellent communication, strong organizational skills and very detailed-oriented
• Motivated to expand future career in technical area
• Any additional language (French, German, Italian) would be a plus
