Senior Software Engineer - Stablecoins

You have 5+ years of software engineering experience, particularly in building and maintaining complex systems that handle real-world value at scale. Your background includes working with blockchain technologies, and you are familiar with smart contract deployment and on-chain operations. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy solving innovative problems with your team.

You possess deep expertise in Ethereum and Solidity, having developed applications that leverage these technologies. Your understanding of backend services, order management, and policy enforcement is strong, and you are comfortable working across multiple blockchain networks. You are detail-oriented and have a passion for the digital asset space, understanding the regulatory frameworks that govern it.

You are a proactive communicator, able to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You enjoy mentoring junior engineers and contributing to a culture of learning and growth within your team. What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Stablecoins team, you will be responsible for building and operating the infrastructure that powers BitGo's Stablecoin-as-a-Service platform. This includes developing smart contracts and managing on-chain operations such as minting, burning, and cross-chain bridging. You will work closely with fintech partners and financial institutions to ensure compliance with regulatory standards while delivering high-quality services.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement backend services that support order management and policy enforcement. Your role will involve optimizing existing systems for performance and scalability, ensuring that they can handle significant transaction volumes securely and efficiently.

You will participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall architecture of the platform, ensuring best practices are followed. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow in their roles. Your contributions will directly impact the success of BitGo's offerings in the digital asset space.

BitGo provides a competitive compensation package, with a base salary ranging from $180,000 to $220,000, along with equity and an annual performance bonus.
