What you'll do

As an Evaluation & Insights Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the Human-Centered AI team at Apple — your primary responsibility will be to evaluate and improve AI systems by analyzing outputs and developing evaluation frameworks. You will collaborate closely with Data Scientists, Researchers, and Engineers to drive improvements across Apple’s platforms, ensuring that AI experiences are reliable, safe, and aligned with user expectations. Your work will involve reviewing and analyzing data, assessing AI model behavior, and translating findings into actionable insights for product and engineering teams.

You will engage in cross-functional collaboration, working alongside Engineering and Project Managers to ensure that AI features meet the highest standards of quality and user satisfaction. Your analytical judgment will be essential in interpreting complex data and providing recommendations that enhance the performance of AI models. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the development of innovative features that leverage AI technology, making a significant impact on Apple’s product offerings.
