Data Engineer, Analytics (Technical Leadership)

You possess full-stack experience with analytical technologies, allowing you to understand the end-to-end analytics systems that drive business decisions.

As a technical leader, you have a proven track record of leading and scaling efforts related to analytics systems — you thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams including software engineering, data science, and product management. Your operational skills drive efficiency and speed, ensuring that projects are completed on time and meet high standards.

You are adept at project management, capable of guiding teams through complex initiatives while maintaining a clear vision for how data can proactively improve company performance. What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the Data Engineering team at Meta, focusing on building and optimizing the data foundation that supports various products. You will collaborate with Product Managers to understand their data needs and ensure that the data infrastructure aligns with business objectives. Your work will involve designing and implementing data pipelines that facilitate efficient data processing and analysis.

You will also work closely with Data Scientists to ensure that the data being collected is relevant and useful for analytical purposes. This includes overseeing the development of data models and ensuring data quality across the organization. Your leadership will guide the team in adopting best practices for data governance and security, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.

As a technical leader, you will mentor junior engineers, helping them grow their skills and advance their careers. You will foster a culture of collaboration and innovation within the team, encouraging team members to share ideas and contribute to the overall success of the data initiatives.
