Celonis is hiring a Global Cyber Defense Analyst to monitor security events and respond to incidents. You'll work with Incident Response and Security Operations Center teams in New York. This role requires experience in security monitoring and incident management.
You have a strong background in cybersecurity, particularly in incident response and security operations. You understand the importance of monitoring security events and have experience with security tools and processes. You are detail-oriented and can document incidents accurately to maintain a historical record. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are eager to contribute to improving detection and response capabilities. You are familiar with creating and testing incident response playbooks and detection use cases. You are proactive in identifying potential threats and compliance violations, ensuring a secure environment.
In this role, you will be part of the Celonis Global Cyber Defense Team, responsible for monitoring security events and responding to incidents. You will assist in developing processes and procedures to enhance detection and response capabilities. Your responsibilities will include creating and testing Celonis Defense Procedures and Incident Response Playbooks, as well as documenting relevant incident information in the case management system. You will monitor the environment, SIEM, and other internal security tools for compliance violations and anomalous behavior. You will collaborate closely with experienced Incident Response and Security Operations Center personnel to ensure the safety of Celonis. You will participate in pre and post-incident activities as outlined in the Celonis Information Security Incident Response Plan, contributing to the overall security posture of the organization.
