What you'll do

As a Data Center Technician at Amazon, you will play a vital role in maintaining the availability and reliability of our data center operations. Your primary responsibilities will include performing hardware and network diagnostics, followed by physical repairs to ensure systems are operational. You will also be involved in the installation of new equipment and the creation of documentation to support operational processes. Your problem-solving skills will be put to the test as you innovate solutions to enhance data center efficiency. You will work closely with a team of technicians and engineers, contributing to a collaborative environment that operates 24/7. Participation in an on-call rotation will be required, allowing you to provide after-hours support as needed. Your ability to react quickly to issues will be critical in maintaining service levels and meeting operational goals.
