You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in building partnerships and driving growth in emerging markets. Your experience includes working with small to medium-sized businesses, helping them to thrive in competitive environments. You are energized by the prospect of opening new markets and have a strong understanding of the unique challenges faced by businesses in underdeveloped areas. You thrive in a role that requires extensive travel and enjoy meeting clients face-to-face to build meaningful relationships. You are a self-starter who takes ownership of your projects and is committed to achieving results. You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to effectively convey the value of DoorDash's services to potential partners.

What you'll do

As a Growth Merchant Lead, you will be responsible for expanding DoorDash's footprint in Tier 4-5 markets. This involves identifying and establishing partnerships with local restaurants and retailers, helping them to grow their businesses through on-demand delivery services. You will own a high-velocity, in-person sales cycle, spending the majority of your time in the field meeting with potential partners. Your role will require you to develop strategies tailored to the unique needs of each market, ensuring that DoorDash's offerings align with local business goals. You will work closely with the Regional Sales Manager and cross-functional teams to drive market growth and achieve sales targets. Your efforts will directly contribute to DoorDash's mission of promoting growth in local economies.
