What you'll do

As the Area Manager, Warehouse, you will oversee the strategic operations within the functional areas of receiving, shipping, storage, and distribution of goods. You will direct activities and provide coaching and guidance to associates, leads, and supervisors, ensuring that all team members are aligned with the company's objectives. Your role will involve working closely with senior management to complete directives and ensure compliance with all safety, GMP, and SQF policies and procedures.

You will be responsible for cultivating a culture that reflects HelloFresh's core values, ensuring that your team is motivated and engaged. Investigating and correcting customer issues and complaints will be a key part of your responsibilities, as you strive to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. You will manage the department engaged in essential warehouse functions, ensuring high productivity and technical integrity.

In addition to overseeing daily operations, you will coordinate objectives with production procedures in cooperation with other plant managers. This collaboration will help maximize product reliability while minimizing costs. You will also be tasked with creating and implementing processes and procedures that enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Your role will require you to relay the quality philosophy to all warehouse personnel, ensuring that everyone understands the importance of maintaining high standards. You will also be involved in designing, developing, and implementing training programs for warehouse staff based on quarterly performance reviews, helping to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
