You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with 8 years of experience in software development across various programming languages. With at least 3 years of experience managing teams, you have a proven track record of leading projects and mentoring others. Your expertise in designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting distributed systems sets you apart, and you possess excellent problem-solving and communication skills. You thrive in environments that require a blend of software and systems engineering, particularly in the context of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
Experience in computing, distributed systems, storage, or networking is preferred. You have a deep understanding of large-scale distributed systems and are skilled in debugging and optimizing code. Your ability to automate routine tasks enhances your effectiveness in managing complex systems.
As a Software Engineering Manager II at Google, you will lead a team focused on building and running large-scale, fault-tolerant systems.
