Overview

Amazon is seeking a Channel Team Lead for their transportation team in Pune. You'll be responsible for account management, training, and driving operational performance. This role requires strong leadership and strategic planning skills.

Who you are

You have a proven track record in operations management, ideally within a logistics or retail environment. Your experience includes managing teams and driving performance metrics to achieve business goals. You are self-driven and possess exceptional communication skills, enabling you to effectively train and coach team members on operational processes and standards. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are adept at building relationships with channel partners to foster growth and collaboration.

You understand the importance of data-driven decision-making and are comfortable analyzing performance metrics to identify areas for improvement. Your strategic mindset allows you to develop and execute account plans that align with business objectives. You are proactive in your approach, ensuring that you visit stores regularly to maintain strong relationships and support operational needs.

Desirable

Experience in the e-commerce or quick commerce sector is a plus. Familiarity with performance management tools and techniques will enhance your ability to drive results. A background in training and development will help you effectively onboard new team members and ensure they are equipped to succeed in their roles.

What you'll do

As the Channel Team Lead, you will oversee the operations at our Delivery Centers, focusing on account identification and acquisition. Your role involves market mapping to identify potential retail stores for timely onboarding into our network. You will manage and drive the growth of channel partners, ensuring they meet performance expectations and align with Amazon's operational standards.

You will conduct regular field visits to maintain relationships with store partners, providing them with the necessary training on Amazon processes and products. Your responsibilities will also include maintaining routine reporting on store performance and developing actionable recommendations to enhance business outcomes. You will collaborate closely with the DC manager to support performance management initiatives and drive the operational plan.

In this role, you will work on the ground to enable network expansion with new product launches, partnering with various teams to ensure seamless operations. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence within the team.
