Overview

Vanta is seeking a Senior Sales Manager for their Enterprise Account Management team in London. You'll lead a team of Account Managers to drive retention and growth targets across EMEA. This role requires strong leadership and strategic planning skills.

Who you are

You have a proven track record in sales management, particularly in enterprise account management, with at least 5 years of experience leading high-performing teams. Your leadership style is supportive and empowering, enabling your team to excel in their roles while achieving business objectives. You possess a deep understanding of the sales process and have successfully implemented strategies that drive customer retention and growth. You are adept at mentoring and coaching team members, providing them with the tools and support necessary to succeed. Your experience in the EMEA market gives you insights into regional dynamics and customer needs, allowing you to tailor your approach effectively. You are results-oriented and thrive in a fast-paced environment, always looking for ways to improve processes and outcomes.

Desirable

Experience in the tech or security industry is a plus, as is familiarity with compliance standards such as SOC 2, HIPAA, and ISO 27001. You have a knack for developing sales training programs and enjoy sharing your knowledge with others. A background in scaling teams during periods of rapid growth will set you apart, as will your ability to navigate complex sales cycles and build strong relationships with clients.

What you'll do

As the Senior Sales Manager at Vanta, you will be responsible for building and implementing the strategy for our upmarket customer base across EMEA. You will manage and mentor a growing team of six high-performing Account Managers, providing them with the coaching and support needed to deliver results. Your role will involve evolving Vanta's expansion and renewal sales playbook by developing and implementing new sales initiatives that will boost our Gross Dollar Retention (GDR) and Net Revenue Retention (NRR). You will actively participate in the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new Account Managers, ensuring they are well-equipped to succeed in their roles. Conducting weekly forecasting meetings and mentoring your direct reports on strategies to retain and grow customer accounts will be key aspects of your responsibilities. You will also collaborate closely with other departments to ensure alignment on goals and strategies, contributing to the overall success of Vanta's mission to help businesses earn and prove trust.
