As a Staff Engineer at Dropbox, you will lead the technical delivery of a team of 15 to 20 engineers, guiding them through the complexities of customer-facing experiences. You will shape the technical direction of projects and partner with product management as the Directly Responsible Individual (DRI) for critical company-wide objectives. Your role will involve owning massive, ambiguous technical and product problems that create significant opportunities for the company. You will be responsible for influencing architectural decisions and ensuring the quality of execution across teams. Your hands-on coding will focus on the most critical and foundational components of the system, allowing you to directly impact the user experience.
