Who you are

You are a motivated and growth-minded individual with a proven track record in sales, particularly in acquiring new customers. With your consultative selling skills, you excel at understanding client needs and presenting tailored solutions that drive value. Your ability to engage with clients across various segments, especially mid-market and enterprise, sets you apart as a strong candidate for this role.

You have experience working with data-driven technologies and understand the importance of data streaming in modern business. Your background in sales has equipped you with the skills to navigate complex sales cycles and close deals effectively. You are comfortable leveraging CRM tools like Salesforce to manage your pipeline and track your progress. Desirable

Experience in the tech industry, particularly with data infrastructure or streaming technologies, would be a plus. What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for driving net-new customer acquisition by introducing Confluent’s leading data streaming platform to prospective clients. You will leverage your strong prospecting skills to identify and engage potential customers, understanding their unique challenges and how Confluent can address them. Your consultative approach will allow you to build relationships and trust with clients, guiding them through the sales process from initial contact to closing the deal.

You will collaborate closely with marketing and product teams to ensure that your sales strategies align with the company’s objectives and messaging. By utilizing data and insights, you will craft compelling value propositions that resonate with your target audience. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of your sales activities and pipeline in Salesforce, ensuring that you meet or exceed your sales targets.

As part of the New Logo Acquisition Team, you will participate in regular training and development sessions to enhance your skills and stay updated on industry trends. You will be encouraged to share your insights and feedback with the team, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. Your success in this role will not only drive revenue for Confluent but also help shape the future of data streaming technology.
