You are an experienced Billing and AR professional with a strong operational rigor and a passion for solving ambiguous problems. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a proven track record of managing billing processes effectively. Your ability to partner cross-functionally across Finance, RevOps, Sales, Customer Success, and Customer Support is key to your success in this role. You understand the importance of timely and accurate billing processes and are committed to ensuring they meet the needs of a growing organization.

You have a deep understanding of billing and accounts receivable operations, and you are adept at identifying areas for improvement. Your analytical skills allow you to assess current processes and implement changes that enhance efficiency and accuracy. You are comfortable working with various stakeholders and can communicate effectively to ensure alignment across teams. You are detail-oriented and have a strong focus on delivering results that support the company's growth objectives.

Desirable

Experience in a high-growth startup environment is a plus, as is familiarity with enterprise sales processes. You may have worked with billing software or platforms that streamline AR operations, and you are always looking for ways to leverage technology to improve processes. A background in finance or accounting can also be beneficial, as it provides you with a solid foundation for understanding the financial implications of billing decisions.

What you'll do

In this role, you will own and scale Scribe's end-to-end billing and accounts receivable operations. You will be responsible for ensuring that billing processes are efficient, accurate, and timely, which is crucial as the company accelerates towards $200M+ in ARR. You will work closely with various teams to understand their needs and ensure that billing operations align with overall business objectives. Your role will involve analyzing current processes, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing solutions that enhance operational efficiency.

You will also play a key role in managing collections operations, ensuring that outstanding invoices are followed up on promptly and effectively. Your ability to analyze data will help you identify trends in billing and collections, allowing you to make informed decisions that drive improvements. You will collaborate with the finance team to ensure that all billing activities are compliant with relevant regulations and standards.

As the Billing Manager, you will be a critical player in supporting Scribe's rapid growth. You will need to be proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement and be willing to take the initiative to implement changes. Your ability to work cross-functionally will be essential, as you will need to partner with teams across the organization to ensure that billing processes meet their needs and support their objectives.
