Datadog is seeking a Senior People Business Partner to support their growing team in Tokyo. You'll work closely with business leadership on people-related initiatives and programs. This role requires strong collaboration and strategic thinking skills.
You have extensive experience in people operations, ideally with a focus on supporting go-to-market teams. Your background includes advising and coaching management on performance management, employee relations, and organizational development. You understand the importance of building a positive office culture and fostering collaboration among team members.
You are skilled in developing and implementing people policies and programs that enhance the employee experience. Your ability to partner with various stakeholders, including departmental PBPs and People Centers of Excellence, allows you to effectively address critical needs and drive change management initiatives. You are passionate about inclusion and employee engagement, ensuring that all voices are heard and valued within the organization.
In this role, you will act as the regional People Business Partner for all employees in Japan, working closely with the go-to-market teams. You will represent the global PBP team and partner with leadership to address people-related challenges and opportunities. Your responsibilities will include advising on performance management processes, coaching managers on career pathing, and supporting employee relations initiatives.
You will maintain close partnerships with departmental PBPs to collaborate on critical needs and change management efforts. Additionally, you will consult with the appropriate People Centers of Excellence to gather expertise and provide input on program design. Your role will involve building and advising on people policies and guidelines that align with Datadog's values and culture.
