You are a mechanical engineer with a passion for manufacturing processes and systems. You have experience in designing and optimizing manufacturing processes from the ground up, ensuring that products are produced efficiently and reliably. You have a strong background in 3D CAD design and are proficient in creating detailed 2D drawings with a focus on DFX principles. Your experience includes rapid prototyping and integrating designs onto manufacturing lines. You are comfortable working on projects of varying sizes and scopes, and you excel at hitting aggressive project schedules. As a Manufacturing Engineer at Neuralink, you will be responsible for the design, development, and optimization of manufacturing processes for brain interface devices. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work with cross-functional teams to integrate electronics packaging and design manufacturing lines. You will be responsible for scoping projects and requirements, ensuring that all timelines are met and that projects are completed on schedule.
