What you'll do

As a Shift Lead at DoorDash, you will take charge of your assigned shifts, overseeing both warehouse and kitchen processes. You will be responsible for ensuring that all operations are conducted safely and productively, guiding your team of Operations Associates throughout their shifts. Your leadership will be crucial in maintaining a high level of service and efficiency.

You will actively engage in fulfilling customer orders, ensuring that they are executed accurately and delivered on time. This involves coordinating with Dasher pickups and addressing any customer inquiries or issues that may arise. Your role will also include maintaining inventory levels and ensuring that all products are stored correctly.

In addition to operational responsibilities, you will play a key role in training new team members — sharing your knowledge and best practices to help them succeed in their roles. You will foster a positive work environment where team members feel supported and motivated to perform at their best.
