Who you are

You have a strong background in Site Reliability Engineering with at least 5 years of experience managing production systems. Your expertise in AWS and Kubernetes allows you to design and implement scalable, fault-tolerant systems that meet high availability requirements. You are proficient in Linux and have a solid understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker, which you use to streamline deployment processes. Your programming skills in Python enable you to automate tasks and improve system efficiency. You are familiar with monitoring tools like Prometheus, which you leverage to ensure system performance and reliability. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with DevOps, Product, and Engineering teams to enhance SRE practices across the organization.

Desirable

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code practices is a plus, as is familiarity with incident management and response strategies. You understand the importance of capacity planning and are skilled at analyzing system performance metrics to inform your decisions. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and are eager to tackle complex challenges that require innovative solutions.

What you'll do

In your role as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at Behavox, you will be responsible for the availability, latency, performance, efficiency, change management, monitoring, emergency response, and capacity planning of all production systems and services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement SRE practices that enhance system reliability and performance. Your day-to-day tasks will include monitoring system health, responding to incidents, and conducting root cause analyses to prevent future occurrences. You will also be involved in capacity planning, ensuring that systems can handle increasing loads while maintaining performance standards. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency of Behavox's data operating platform, enabling clients to manage and analyze massive volumes of data effectively.
