What you'll do

As the Senior Software Engineering Manager, you will lead the Logistics Serving team, overseeing the development of core systems that support order fulfillment for Instacart's four-sided marketplace. You will be responsible for setting the technical direction of the team, ensuring that projects align with business goals and user needs. You will collaborate closely with product managers, data scientists, and other engineering teams to design and implement solutions that enhance the customer experience. Your role will involve hands-on coding, architectural design, and performance optimization of the systems you oversee. You will also be responsible for hiring and developing talent within your team, conducting regular one-on-ones, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
