What you'll do

In this role, you will collaborate with the Correctness Team at MongoDB, contributing to the design, implementation, and maintenance of testing infrastructure tooling and frameworks. Your work will directly impact the quality and correctness of MongoDB's products, enabling engineers to deploy with confidence. You will be responsible for setting and executing the vision for projects that address scaling limits, ensuring that the tools you develop meet the evolving needs of the engineering teams.

You will engage in hands-on programming, primarily using Python, to build and enhance testing frameworks that support distributed systems. Your role will involve integrating various testing techniques and strategies to ensure that products are rigorously tested before deployment. You will also work closely with other engineers to gather feedback and iterate on tools, making improvements based on real-world usage and challenges.

As a senior member of the team, you will take on a leadership role in mentoring junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow in their careers. You will foster a collaborative environment where team members feel supported and empowered to innovate. MongoDB provides a competitive salary range for this role in Canada, with a base salary between $108,000 and $149,000 CAD.
