What you'll do

As the Director of Product Security at Rubrik, you will define the strategy and roadmap for the Product Security organization, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. You will lead and manage an international team of Security Engineers, guiding them in delivering security outcomes that not only protect Rubrik's products but also enhance customer trust. You will collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to integrate security into the product development process, ensuring that security standards are met or exceeded. Your role will involve evaluating and maturing existing security processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing best practices across the organization. You will be responsible for fostering a culture of security awareness and education within the company, ensuring that all teams understand their role in maintaining security. Additionally, you will engage with external stakeholders to ensure compliance with data governance and security regulations, protecting Rubrik's information assets. You will report directly to senior leadership, providing updates on security initiatives and outcomes, and advocating for necessary resources to achieve security goals.
