You have 5+ years of backend engineering experience building production systems at scale — you've owned services from design through deployment and have navigated complex distributed systems issues. What you'll do

As a Senior Backend Engineer II on the Intelligence Team, you will design and build scalable backend systems that deliver personalized recommendations and adaptive customer journeys. You will lead the technical direction for services such as the Tasks Recommendation Service, personalizing onboarding tasks based on user goals and context. Collaborating closely with AI, data, and product teams, you will integrate contextual signals and machine learning models into real-time decisioning systems. Your role will involve translating user problems into technical solutions, ensuring that all backend systems genuinely enhance end-user experiences. You will also focus on improving the scalability, reliability, and performance of third-party data integrations and synchronization pipelines.
