Material Handler (Starlink)

Who you are

You have a high school diploma or equivalency certificate and are eager to support production and engineering teams in a fast-paced environment. You are physically capable of moving materials and have a keen eye for detail, ensuring that all materials are properly packaged and ready for transport. You are comfortable interfacing with various departments, including receiving, quality control, and purchasing, to resolve any issues that arise in the materials management process.

Desirable

Experience operating material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks is a plus, as is familiarity with production schedules and logistics. You are a team player who enjoys collaborating with others to meet deadlines and ensure smooth operations.

What you'll do

In this role, you will support the production and engineering teams by moving parts and materials as needed to adhere to the master schedule. You will be responsible for physically moving and expediting materials to meet work order completion dates, ensuring that production runs smoothly. You will verify that all materials are packaged and banded correctly for transport, assisting with loading and unloading trucks as necessary. Your role will require you to operate various material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to facilitate the movement of materials throughout the facility.
