Overview

You have a BS in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, along with 5+ years of experience in the design, construction, and operations of large mechanical cooling systems. Your expertise allows you to bring reliable, efficient, flexible, cost-effective, and sustainable data center mechanical designs and systems to life. You are comfortable traveling as needed for project requirements and have a strong understanding of critical facilities.

You thrive in collaborative environments where teamwork and resourcefulness are key attributes for success. Your ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders ensures that projects are completed to the highest standards. You are committed to delivering excellence and are eager to contribute to the next generation of data centers at Apple.

Desirable

Preferred qualifications include 8+ years of experience in the field, which would further enhance your ability to lead complex projects and mentor junior engineers. Your background in critical facilities will be invaluable as you navigate the challenges of large-scale data center operations.

What you'll do

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Apple, you will lead design and construction administration on large-scale projects, acting as Apple’s Owners Representative for the Mechanical Engineering team. Your role will involve overseeing the implementation of mechanical systems that support the operational efficiency of data centers. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all designs meet Apple’s high standards for sustainability and performance.
