Odeko is seeking a Coffee Equipment Service Technician to perform repairs and maintenance on coffee equipment across New England. This role involves troubleshooting espresso machines and water filtration systems, ensuring optimal performance for local cafes and coffee shops.

Who you are

You are a skilled technician with experience in servicing and repairing coffee equipment, including espresso machines and water filtration systems. You have a strong understanding of the technical aspects of coffee equipment and are comfortable driving to various customer locations to perform repairs and maintenance. You are detail-oriented and possess excellent problem-solving skills, allowing you to troubleshoot issues effectively and efficiently. You thrive in a hands-on role and enjoy working independently while also being part of a larger team that supports local businesses.

Desirable

Experience in a similar role or background in mechanical or electrical engineering would be beneficial. Familiarity with coffee equipment and a passion for the coffee industry can set you apart as a candidate. You are adaptable and willing to learn new skills as technology evolves in the coffee equipment space.

What you'll do

As a Coffee Equipment Service Technician, your primary responsibility will be to drive throughout New England to troubleshoot and repair coffee equipment at customer locations. You will conduct emergency repairs, perform preventative maintenance, and install new equipment as needed. Your day will involve interacting with customers, understanding their equipment issues, and providing timely solutions to ensure their operations run smoothly. You will also keep detailed records of your service visits and repairs, contributing to the overall efficiency of the service team.

You will be expected to manage your schedule effectively, balancing emergency calls with routine maintenance visits. Your role is crucial in supporting local cafes and coffee shops, ensuring they have the equipment necessary to serve their customers. You will collaborate with other team members to share knowledge and improve service processes, contributing to the overall mission of Odeko to support small businesses.

What we offer

Odeko offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $23.00 to $28.00, depending on experience. You will have a Monday to Friday schedule from 8 am to 5:30 pm, with on-call responsibilities for weekends. In addition to a supportive work environment, you will have the opportunity to earn equity in the company.
