You are a motivated individual eager to dive into the world of software engineering, particularly in the innovative field of brain-computer interfaces. As an entry-level Software Engineer Intern, you have a foundational understanding of programming languages such as C, C++, and Python. You thrive in collaborative environments and are excited about the opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking technology that has the potential to change lives. You are open to learning and adapting, ready to take on challenges that come your way. Experience with SDK development or firmware is a plus, but not required. A passion for technology and a desire to work on impactful projects will set you apart.
As a Software Engineer Intern on the Brain Interfaces Software Team, you will be involved in developing and improving Neuralink’s Implant and Charger SDK. You will maintain the brain interface software and firmware build tooling, ensuring that the software runs smoothly and efficiently. Your role will also include developing and improving the Implant manufacturing line acceptance software, which is crucial for the production of our devices. You will work closely with experienced engineers, gaining insights into the software development lifecycle and contributing to various projects that enhance the functionality of our brain-computer interface devices. You will have the autonomy to propose creative solutions to problems and will be encouraged to engage in rigorous inquiry to find the best approaches.
At Neuralink, we provide a supportive environment where you can grow and develop your skills. You will have access to excellent medical, dental, and vision insurance through a PPO plan. We offer paid holidays, commuter benefits, and meals provided at our facilities. While interns are initially excluded from certain benefits like equity and 401(k) plans, you will have the opportunity to work in a meritocratic environment where your contributions are valued.
