You have a solid understanding of industrial product regulations and are excited to leverage this knowledge to ensure compliance in hardware products. You enjoy collaborating with cross-functional teams, including design engineers and product managers, to translate regulatory guidelines into actionable engineering requirements. Your analytical skills allow you to review product designs effectively, ensuring they meet safety and regulatory standards across various geographies. You are detail-oriented and thrive in a hands-on role within the product lifecycle, eager to develop your regulatory and project management skills further.
Experience in the 3D printing industry or similar fields would be a plus, as would familiarity with international compliance standards. You are proactive in your approach and enjoy exploring varying regulatory landscapes to ensure that products are compliant in all markets.
As a Hardware Compliance Engineer at Formlabs, you will partner with design engineers, product managers, and manufacturing engineers to establish and execute compliance certification strategies. You will identify relevant standards and translate them into engineering requirements, reviewing product designs for compliance throughout the product lifecycle. The annual base pay for this role ranges from $100,000 to $140,000 USD, depending on your skills and experience.
