Apple is seeking a Lead Site Reliability Engineer to manage and enhance the iCloud Services infrastructure. You'll focus on availability and automation while leading engineering teams. This role requires deep experience in reliability engineering and large-scale systems.
You have 3+ years of demonstrable success leading engineering teams, ideally in Site Reliability Engineering or Production Engineering. Your experience includes deep knowledge of large-scale reliability engineering, ensuring systems run smoothly and efficiently. You possess the technical expertise to dive deep into systems while also maintaining a focus on higher-level business and product goals. You are passionate about crafting experiences that positively influence millions of customers and are committed to providing extraordinary availability, scalability, and security for services. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are eager to work with a diverse set of engineers to tackle complex challenges.
Experience with cloud services, particularly AWS, is a plus. Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes will set you apart. A background in automation and monitoring tools will also be beneficial as you work to enhance the operational precision of Apple’s services.
