The Engineering Manager will lead the development and delivery of next-generation user experience platforms.
Description
We’re looking for a hands-on Engineering Manager with a strong background in software engineering to lead development efforts, architect scalable solutions, and drive technical innovation across our infrastructure platform. In this critical role, you’ll manage a high-performing team of engineers focused on advancing our foundational services, with knowledge of Kubernetes being a significant plus. You’ll work closely with engineering and product leadership to define our multi-cloud infrastructure strategy, build next-generation products and ensure successful implementation across environments. The ideal candidate has proven experience leading engineering teams, a track record of delivering systems at scale, and deep expertise in distributed software architecture; familiarity with Kubernetes and artificial intelligence is a bonus. You’ll own the strategy, and execution of platform initiatives—aligning technical goals with business outcomes to deliver high-impact solutions.
Minimum Qualifications
5 YOE of leading, mentoring, and growing a high-performing team of engineers and cloud infrastructure professionals.
Defined and executed the K8s experience strategy aligned with business objectives and industry trends.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, business units) to integrate K8s solutions into company products and services.
Ensure alignment between Kubernetes architecture and cloud-native applications.
Ensure the quality, robustness, and scalability of the systems.
Drive the hiring and development of talent to build a strong, cohesive team.
Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services and APIs using Go (Golang).
Design and build scalable, reliable, and secure APIs for integration with third-party systems and internal tools.
Ensure code quality through unit testing, peer reviews, and adherence to coding best practices.
B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent professional experience
Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency in one or more programming languages
Proficiency highly scalable system design
Kubernetes and Distributed compute systems knowledge is a plus.
