Flex is seeking a Senior Director of State Government Affairs & Public Policy to lead their state government strategy. You'll represent the company before policymakers and advocacy organizations, focusing on improving financial stability for renters. This role requires strong political judgment and policy expertise.
You are a seasoned leader with a strong background in state government affairs and public policy. With at least 5 years of experience in a similar role, you have a proven track record of successfully navigating complex regulatory environments. Your political judgment is sharp, and you possess the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders, including policymakers and advocacy organizations. You are entrepreneurial in spirit, always looking for innovative ways to advance policies that benefit renters and improve their financial stability. You understand the challenges faced by renters and are passionate about creating solutions that empower them. You thrive in high-visibility roles and are comfortable representing your organization in public forums.
As the Director of State Government Affairs & Public Policy at Flex, you will oversee the company's state government affairs strategy nationwide. You will work closely with the Vice President of Public Affairs to shape the policy environment that supports Flex's growth and operational integrity. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing strategies to engage with state policymakers and regulators, advocating for policies that align with Flex's mission to empower renters. You will analyze legislative proposals and regulatory changes, providing insights and recommendations to the executive team. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that Flex's interests are represented in public policy discussions. You will also be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with advocacy organizations and other stakeholders to advance Flex's goals.
