Overview

SpaceX is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician for the Starlink project to oversee the installation and maintenance of heavy industrial equipment. You'll work with systems such as cranes and compressed air systems in Woodinville, WA.

Who you are

You have a foundational understanding of industrial maintenance practices and are eager to learn in a hands-on environment. You are comfortable reading and interpreting engineering blueprints and work instructions, which is essential for the installation and maintenance of production support equipment. Your knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems will be crucial in ensuring the reliability of our industrial equipment. You are detail-oriented and capable of assessing the functionality of critical facility systems, such as cranes and elevators, to maintain operational efficiency. You understand the importance of preventive and predictive maintenance techniques and are committed to ensuring the smooth operation of machinery. You are a team player who collaborates effectively with third-party contractors and internal teams to achieve common goals.

Desirable

Experience with heavy industrial equipment and familiarity with safety protocols in an industrial setting would be advantageous. A background in troubleshooting and repairing complex systems will set you apart as a candidate.

What you'll do

As an Industrial Maintenance Technician at SpaceX, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation and maintenance of heavy industrial equipment, including cranes and compressed air systems, to support the production of Starlink. You will perform regular services and maintenance procedures, ensuring that all machinery operates smoothly and efficiently. Your role will involve troubleshooting equipment breakdowns and implementing corrective actions to minimize downtime.
