Minitab is seeking a Legal Intern to support their Legal department in State College. You'll assist with contract reviews, data management, and legal administration tasks. This role is ideal for candidates looking to gain experience in a corporate legal environment.
You are an enthusiastic and driven individual eager to gain experience in a corporate legal environment. As a Legal Intern, you are looking to support the Legal department at Minitab's State College headquarters. You possess a strong desire to learn and contribute to the day-to-day activities of the Legal Department, including corporate business operations and legal administration tasks. You are ready to engage in a structured intern program that offers social activities and networking opportunities with other interns and Minitab colleagues, including the CEO. You are excited about the prospect of working on substantive projects that make an impact on Minitab’s business and customers.
In this role, you will review contracts and legal documents to locate and record specific data and information. You will also transfer and update data and information from documents and contracts into various internal systems. Your responsibilities will include performing a wide variety of clerical, technical, and administrative office support duties to assist the Legal Department. You will prepare summaries, reporting metrics, and build informational reports on contracts and other agreements. Additionally, you will assist with the development of internal education programs on relevant legal issues for company business units. Researching and assisting with various legal matters will also be part of your role, providing you with a comprehensive experience in the legal field.
