Overview

Amazon is hiring a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment. You'll work with pneumatic systems and automated packaging equipment in Aurora, Colorado.

Who you are

You have experience as a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician, with a strong background in maintaining and repairing material handling equipment and pneumatic systems. You are skilled in troubleshooting and have a solid understanding of automated packaging and distribution equipment. You enjoy mentoring junior technicians, helping them grow in their roles, and you thrive in a fast-paced environment where reliability is key. You are committed to continuous improvement and have a proactive approach to problem-solving. You understand the importance of safety and compliance in a maintenance role and are dedicated to maintaining high standards in your work.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of automated packaging and distribution equipment. You will work closely with the Operations Maintenance team to ensure that all equipment is functioning optimally, contributing to the overall efficiency of Amazon's operations. You will conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on material handling equipment, identifying and addressing any issues before they impact operations. You will also be involved in troubleshooting complex mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring that all repairs are completed in a timely manner. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to mentor junior technicians, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them develop their skills. Your role will be crucial in driving continuous improvement initiatives within the team, contributing to the overall success of Amazon's operations.
