ABOUT THIS ROLE
Based in Paris, Audible France SAS is looking for an experienced, proactive and detail-orientated Production and Casting Manager. You are responsible for the management and coordination of our own French spoken word productions, including audio books, multicast audio dramas and podcasts.

You will be managing in-house, third-party producers and key stakeholders to create premium audio content. This role works in close cooperation with Audible Studio leaders outside of Europe to elevate Audible’s global content creation. This role will be comfortable working at high volume with multiple internal and external stakeholders, and be able to react fast to changing priorities. You will have strong direct relationships with key acting agents, production companies and creative talent in the industry and will be proactive in strengthening and widening these relationships on a regular basis.

ABOUT THE TEAM
Audible's Production Team is responsible for the production and delivery of world class audio entertainment. We are a highly creative team who use data and creative relationships to bring true meaning to 'premium content'. The team is the driving force behind Audible’s production output in our DE, ES, IT and FR marketplaces, producing audiobooks, audio drama and podcasts.

As a Production and Casting Manager, you will...
- Oversee the audio productions for France by managing external and internal studio resources against productions budgets and timelines
- Expand and cultivate a robust network of production partners (Studios, Cast and Crew) to optimize production value while maintaining budget parameters
- Book and build cohesive production teams for projects by assembling compatible teams of freelancers or expert companies, including completing staff services contracts
- Analyze scripts, identify casting requirements, and leverage a keen ear for talent while nurturing relationships with key acting agents
- Support management to help define production priorities, develop and implement production strategies across new formats
- Serve as the primary point for talent casting and talent care for all types of productions in the French language, ensuring colleagues globally have visibility on casting progress.
- Negotiate rates and contracts with external partners to optimize production value while maintaining budget parameters
- Work closely with internal producers and/or external vendors to define the right audio style (cast, tone of production, audio atmospheres, music, Foley, sound fx) for each production and to continuously elevate the listening experience and Audible’s sound & feel
- Shape and coordinate work flow and overall communication with external vendors to supervise production, assure excellence of their performance and ensure deadlines are being kept
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Content, Legal and Finance) on creative and budget strategies

- Business fluency in written and verbal French and English
- Professional Degree (Bachelors’ degree, MBA, M.A., M.S., or another post-graduate degree)
- International experience working across different markets and cultural contexts
- Additional European languages are desirable
- Strong interest in listening experiences and audio production
- Highly organized, with a focus to details and an enjoyment of working in cross-functional & international teams with tight deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to make excellent business decisions
- Substantial project management experience and the ability to optimize workflows
- Independent, passionate self-starter with a focus on delivery of excellence
- Able to operate in a high-energy, high-intensity and rapidly evolving environment
