Software Engineer (Backend)

You possess strong programming skills, particularly in Java and Spring, and are comfortable working with REST APIs. Your understanding of system architecture and database optimization allows you to contribute to the overall performance and reliability of the services you build. You are data-informed in your approach, using metrics to guide your decisions and improve user experiences.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing backend services that support the member journey from activation to retention. You will collaborate with product managers and designers to understand user needs and translate them into technical solutions. You will engage in code reviews and contribute to the technical documentation of the systems you build. Monitoring and maintaining the performance of these systems will be part of your responsibilities, as you ensure they meet the high standards expected by our users. You will also participate in cross-functional meetings to align on project goals and timelines, ensuring that your contributions are in sync with the overall product strategy.

Your role will require you to stay updated on industry trends and best practices, continuously seeking ways to improve the backend architecture and processes.
