Distyl AI is seeking a Head of Talent Acquisition to scale their hiring strategy and build a world-class recruiting function. You'll work closely with leadership to attract top-tier talent in a hybrid work environment based in San Francisco.

Who you are

You have extensive experience in talent acquisition, ideally with a focus on technology and AI sectors — you've successfully built and scaled recruiting functions in fast-growing companies. Your strategic mindset allows you to translate business priorities into effective hiring outcomes, and you have a proven track record of attracting and closing top-tier talent across various roles, from executive leadership to technical positions.

You thrive in collaborative environments and understand the importance of building strong relationships with stakeholders — you earn trust as a strategic advisor to the leadership team and the Head of People. Your ability to analyze market trends and adapt recruiting strategies accordingly sets you apart, ensuring that the company remains competitive in attracting the best talent.

You are passionate about creating a diverse and inclusive workplace — you understand the value of varied perspectives and actively seek to implement practices that promote equity in hiring. Your experience in developing and executing employer branding initiatives helps position the company as an employer of choice in the AI industry.

Desirable

Experience in AI or technology sectors is a plus, as is familiarity with hybrid work models. You have a network of industry contacts that can aid in sourcing candidates and are comfortable using data and analytics to inform your recruiting strategies.

What you'll do

As the Head of Talent Acquisition at Distyl AI, you will own the end-to-end hiring strategy, ensuring that the company can scale rapidly while maintaining a high bar for talent. You will work closely with the leadership team to understand business needs and translate them into actionable recruiting plans. Your role will involve developing a comprehensive recruiting strategy that encompasses sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding processes.

You will lead a team of recruiters, providing mentorship and guidance to ensure they are equipped to meet the demands of a fast-paced environment. Your focus will be on building a world-class recruiting function that not only attracts top talent but also enhances the candidate experience throughout the hiring process.

You will collaborate with the Head of People to align talent acquisition efforts with overall company culture and values, ensuring that new hires are not only skilled but also a good fit for the organization. Your insights will help shape the company's approach to talent management and workforce planning, contributing to long-term success.
