Senior Machine Learning Engineer-Perception

Who you are

You hold a Master's or PhD in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or a related field, or possess equivalent industry experience. You have an in-depth understanding of common Machine Learning and Deep Learning algorithms, and you are familiar with state-of-the-art solutions and systems for autonomous vehicles. Your experience includes designing, training, and analyzing neural networks for applications such as object detection and behavior prediction.

You are passionate about Level 5 autonomous driving and excited by intellectual challenges. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy mentoring junior engineers, helping them grow in their careers. You are driven by the mission to create positive social impact through technology and are eager to contribute to the future of transportation.

Desirable

Experience with productionizing and deploying machine learning solutions onto autonomous vehicle fleets is a plus. Familiarity with the latest advancements in perception technologies and a strong desire to stay updated with industry trends will set you apart.

What you'll do

As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer on the Perception Team, you will drive project-level impact to enhance the capabilities of our autonomous vehicles. You will help define and influence the direction of the team based on technology and business needs. Your responsibilities will include formulating problems, architecting solutions, and designing processes that contribute to the development of safe and comfortable driving experiences.

You will prototype, evaluate, implement, and iterate on solutions, ensuring they meet the high standards required for autonomous driving. Collaborating with other team members, you will share your expertise and insights, fostering a culture of learning and innovation within the team.
