Microsoft is seeking a Senior Applied Scientist to drive core accuracy improvements for Dragon Copilot in healthcare. You'll analyze data, evaluate new ideas, and ship production code. This role requires strong research skills and a background in AI and healthcare.
You are a curious and self-driven individual with strong research skills, comfortable defining a path towards high-level goals. With a background in AI and healthcare, you have experience in creating product impact through research-backed solutions. You thrive in collaborative environments, establishing relationships with product and business groups to drive technology transfers and create business impact. You are proactive in your approach, taking initiative in activities such as filing patents, authoring white papers, and developing tools for internal use. Your analytical skills allow you to evaluate new ideas and generalize learnings for broader product applications.
In this role, you will independently work to create product impact by identifying approaches that apply, improve, or create scalable solutions to enhance the accuracy of Microsoft Dragon Copilot for nurses. You will bring new technologies and approaches into production, applying long-term research efforts to solve immediate product needs. Your responsibilities will include analyzing data to drive core accuracy improvements, evaluating new ideas, and shipping production code and models. You will also collaborate with relevant product and business groups, providing expertise to create significant business impact. Additionally, you may have opportunities to publish research and contribute to the broader AI and healthcare community.
